Gamer Profile Regulations

The Band of Marines Official Gamer Profile Rules
The following guide has been compiled for the usage and extensive support of our Marines in the fielded zones, found on the Xbox LIVE System. It will accurately detail the necessary functions needed to change their current Gamer Profile details to the newly adopted settings for our Marines.

Requirements:

• A computer, with internet access.

• Your login details to your Xbox LIVE account.

• Comprehensive skills with internet accounts.

Let's begin by having you login to your current gamertag, onto Xbox.com found either by using a known search engine such as Google or Yahoo, or by clicking here.

Second, we'll login via the screen shown below. Please note that this will require both the e-mail address you registered your Xbox LIVE account with, and the password used to secure it, easy!

Third, we'll select the top right click down box, appropriately named "My Xbox" and find the option named "Manage Profile" in the list of options given within the appropriate context box.

Fourth, a variety of options are listed upon the right, we suggest you click the very fitting selection of "Edit Profile" and continue onwards to the fifth step. Take note, you'll be copying and pasting.

Fifth, a list below of options you'll copy and paste from this site, to Xbox.com will be provided, and appropriately named. Take note that various options will be provided to you, depending on your unit.


Motto -- DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR

Name -- Your rank, first name initial, and last name (ex. Cpl C. Escue)

Location -- MOS: 0000 (your MOS number replaces the four zeros)

Bio -- Copy & Paste

Serving in Alpha Company, Company Staff, Company Commander.
Serving in Alpha Company, Company Staff, Company Executive Officer.
Serving in Alpha Company, Company Staff, Company Chief Medical Officer.
Serving in Alpha Company, Company Staff, Company First Sergeant.
Serving in Alpha Company, Company Staff, Company Gunnery Sergeant.
Serving in Alpha Company, First Platoon, Platoon Staff.
Serving in Alpha Company, First Platoon, First Squad.
Serving in Alpha Company, First Platoon, Second Squad.

Ensure that you copy and paste the correct details, regarding your appropriate unit or assignment, as to avoid any clashes of difference or errors in your context menu's. Take note, that the bio is the one above.

Sixth, you'll need to click the "Save" option, after confirming exactly how everything looks, please note that the image above is not exactly how it should look, differences could include your unit name in bio. Please ask any SNCO or officer within Alpha Company if you have any questions of any kind, and good luck!
