Chechen terrorists were engaged and capture of the Soviet Mountain Base and other outlying areas achieved. Pacification of hostiles in prominent Georgian city accomplished. Both Marines and soldiers of the 101st Airborne performed superbly.

Some of the individuals in the Airborne were having trouble listening and overall we had problems with both units clogging up the comm chatter. Our new Corpsman, Doc Houlihan did not know the formations in a fireteam, complicating things when on foot patrol. Also the Army did not have a designated Combat Medic until halfway through the operation.

Everyone should work on talking in combat only when necessary and saying only what is immediately necessary to be said. Doc Houlihan should strive to learn the combat formations and spacing so that operations may run smoother.
