Joint Op: BoM w/ 1st Recon

Attn. Marines,

Alright boys, you remember the situation in Georgia? Of course you do, that's where we totally annihilated packs of insurgencies in droves. Well, it seems the insurgency didn't learn it's lesson from our first attempt to show them why they don't mess with us. So we're being ordered back in and this time we're bringing in boys from the 1st Recon Battalion along with us. As far as I know the Army still have the borders held down tight and the Russians are still in stand down mode. While I can't tell you the full story, Command does believe that there is a connection between the insurgency and Russia.

So what's our mission, you may ask? To completely remove the insurgency from Georgia. That means we will be striking key critical targets throughout the country that belong to the insurgency, crippling their supply lines and moving in for the kill. At 1900 EDT on August 28th, 2010, we're going to be at Readiness Condition (REDCON) One. Get your boots on the line. Post below whether or not you're going to be able to attend the op and make sure to alert your squad and platoon mates of the operation, codenamed SCARFACE. It's time we finished the job like we should have the first time, oorah?

I, Private Bruhn, shall be attending the Joint Operation on August 28th between the 27th MEU(SOC) and the 1st recon at 1900 EDT. Unless certain unforeseeable events happen, then I will notify if things have changed.

EDIT (1527 Hours CST) I am very sorry but work called me at 1520Hours and I am needed today. I cannot make it to the training.

ATTN. MARINES:

The Joint Operation is being postponed due to a shortage in members online on the part of First Recon. Instead, we will be conducting training exercises tonight to help better prepare and learn how to effectively operate in a combat environment. First Platoon is required to be present. No skipping out because there's no Joint Op.
